"Just some average people, doing something above average, to up the average."

 

The comment made by Why Not Us Vice President, Kurke White, during the first inaugural Street Mayor Classic 3 on 3 Student Basketball Tournament summed up the Why Not Us movement. The ripple effect of that student tournament led to the 2016 birth of the Why Not Us Non For Profit Organization. Though the organization has grown over the years, the core idea of average people doing above average things for others remains.
